We make more decisions every single day than we can even count. Each decision, every small step we take, adds up—whether it’s leading us in a potentially new direction or keeping us on the same road we’ve been on all along. Minor actions influence our life in big ways. Jesus says that if we want to lead our best life, we must honor our heavenly Father and obey His commands. This is a tall order, and one that often overwhelms us. Yet God’s commandments are meant to protect us, not limit us. They’re intended to help us build a better future for ourselves and those around us. They prevent us from hurting ourselves and other people, whether physically or emotionally. As we walk through life with Jesus, we will find that He offers us the strength and counsel to make the right choices—choices that lead to a more fulfilled life that’s built on solid relationships and characterized by hope and love.
